This year I hosted my friend group’s second annual Christmas party. I love Christmas! I especially love Christmas parties- friends, food, merriment.. you can’t go wrong. This year I wanted something cozy and fun for my friends and I to enjoy so I went with a ‘Pancakes and Pajamas’ theme.
Super cute, right? I was initially inspired by this adorable invite by Just a little Sparkle.

But, since I’m not at a place in my life where I felt I could justify actually ordering custom invites just to have my friends over for a couple hours, I decided to make them myself. I am in no way, shape, or form a graphic designer so my work obviously isn’t as great as the one above but I was still happy with the way it turned out.
My house wasn’t as decorated as it was for my party last year since we won’t be celebrating Christmas at home this year but I still tried my best to make it as festive as possible.
For party favors I bought cute little milk glasses from Target and wrapped labels around them that I made myself to make them a little more festive.
I also found a cheap photo backdrop and set up a makeshift photobooth complete with festive signs to add to the holiday cheer. Both backdrop and props are from Oriental Trading Company so the quality isn’t the absolute best but it also isn’t terrible- which counts as a win in my book.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! I hope everyone has a wonderful time with family and friends this year!
