Oh my goodness, St. Kitts. St. Kitts is an absolute dream. This was quite possibly my favorite of all the islands we went to. Rainforest, mountains, beaches… what’s not to love? And we got to experience it all on a 4×4 safari.

I finally did it! I learned how to surf! And it was… well it was really, really hard. And I loved every minute of it.
The island nation of Barbados was home to quite possibly the most picturesque beach I’ve ever seen in my life. And, to make our time spent on the island even more fun, I learned how to surf!
First stop on our 8 day cruise: St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands! Originally settled by the Dutch in the 1600s, St. Thomas was a picture-perfect slice of paradise. While here my family enjoyed a snorkeling expedition with Captain Nautica through Carnival.
My family decided we were long overdue for a good old-fashioned family vacation since we hadn’t been on one since.. well probably since before I started college. Once we determined this was in fact going to happen the reigns were handed over to me to plan.
